Official Rules

1. HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS GAME (the "Treasure Hunt"): This game is a unique concept that is made up of a number of online trivia and treasure hunts.

Contestants will be able to track the number of points they have accumulated overall, on this website to see who is in the lead each day follow this link - "Current Stats".

Any attempt to tamper with the games being played e.g., restarting of time clock, restarting of page after it loads resulting in the loss of points or deduction thereof, is entirely at the player's discretion. No requests for reinstatement of points will be entertained and the organisers, their advertisers or creators of the game will not be held responsible in this event or any other of its kind.

The games will be staged over 3 months. The games will be made up of a combination of online multiple choice questions and some questions posted on this website may require a visit to a sponsor's website or physical premises to hunt for the answer.

Bonus points will be awarded for correct answers obtained following a visit to "Clues for Bonus Points". Each stage questions will be available online for the duration of one week.

a. Each game on this website will be staged over 3 months.

b. It will be made up of three (3) individual games, one each month, with over fifty (50) prizes given away each month on a point system basis for each game.

c. At the end of each month a top prize valued over US$500 will be awarded to the overall point’s winner.

d. All entrants must be 18 years and over to obtain a Member I.D. Different locations will have different methods of payment for their membership fee to play the games, so you must check the registration in your area for this information. In Barbados, you will be able to pay at any SurePay Location listed on the Registration Form.

2. ELIGIBILITY: Open to anyone worldwide. Agents and creators of the Trivia Game, their immediate family and household members (related or not), are not eligible to enter and play or collect prizes.

3. DETAILS: To be a member of our club cost US$50.00 plus VAT. This will entitle you to play any one of the three (3) month games and be eligible to win the car advertised in your area. You can learn more about the Games and the Treasure Hunt by going to the web site at www.triviaandgames.com.

4. PARTICIPANT CONDUCT: Sponsors reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Participant who (a) tampers with the entry process or the participation in, or operation of, the Treasure Hunt; (b) violates these rules; or (c) acts in a disruptive manner with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other Participant or person. Clues are located in public places, and are not in dangerous locations such as under water, on ledges, mountain tops or in caves. Destruction or destroying any real or personal property is not necessary in order to find the clues or otherwise participate. Sponsor expressly forbids any such conduct. By participating, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsors, which shall be final in all respects on all aspects pertaining to the Treasure Hunt.

5. Sponsors shall have complete discretion to interpret these Official Rules and any other aspect of the Treasure Hunt, and expressly reserves the right to refuse to award the prize to anyone who in Sponsor's discretion is in breach of these Official Rules or otherwise fails satisfactorily to establish their eligibility to win.

6. COLLABORATIONS: If you have collaborated in your efforts with other persons, each of the finding participants must comply with all of the foregoing requirements and execute all of the required documents. Only one registered Collaborator can collect the prize. Collaborators must also release Sponsor from any liability in connection with their agreement among one another, and if Sponsor incurs any costs or expenses, including legal expenses, in connection with collaborators' agreement, all collaborators agree to reimburse Sponsor for any and all such costs and expenses jointly and severally.

7. PRIZES: All prizes must be collected in the country in which the game is being played. The prizes will be kept for four months after the game is played, when the prizes will be returned to the advertisers.

8. GENERAL: No transfer or substitution of prizes permitted by winners.

9. ADDITIONAL LIMITATIONS: By entering, participants (a) agree to be bound by the official rules and the decisions of the Sponsor which are final and binding in all respects; (b) agree to release Sponsor and agents from any and all liability, loss, damage or injury resulting from participation in this Treasure Hunt and searching for the clues, as well as awarding, receipt, possession use and/or misuse of any prize awarded herein and acknowledge that Sponsor, and agents have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize including, but not limited to, its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose; and (c) consent to use of his/her name, photograph and/or likeness for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

10. DISPUTES. This Treasure Hunt is governed by the laws of Barbados. As a condition of participating in this Treasure Hunt, participants agree that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Treasure Hunt, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Barbados. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances will participants be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waive all rights to claim punitive, incidental or consequential damages, including attorneys' fees, other than participant's actual out-of-pocket expenses (e.g. costs associated with entering), and participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.

11. PUBLICATION OF FINDERS: After the End Date of the Treasure Hunt, the finders will be published on the Web site.

12. A prize giving ceremony will be held every first Saturday of the month, AFTER the month in which the game is played at a locations to be advertised in each area.
